We offer four high-precision linear XYZ Mapping Tables. When combined with Ocean Optics spectrometer systems or other sensing devices, the mapping table is ideal for spatial mapping of spectral features or for multisampling operations such as measuring absorbance or fluorescence in microwell plates.
About the Mapping Table. The table comes with an electric motor and encoder to drive each axis, along with a CNC Controller and a portal for the vertical (Z-axis) stage.
The system requires 110-240 VAC to operate, and interfaces via RS-232 bus to PCs. Computer-controlled operation of the motors is available with a script written in OOIBase32 Platinum, our spectrometer operating software with an embedded Visual Basic for Applications-compatible scripting language.
| The XYZ Table makes it possible to measure every sample within an X-Y range of 150 mm x 150 mm or 200 mm x 150 mm. The resolution for the linear axes is 1 μm, with an accuracy of +/-5 μm. With the 100-mm vertical stage, you can attach holders for probes and other kinds of sampling devices.
Mapping Table Options. The XYZ Mapping Table is available in four different versions. Use the table as an X-Y stage only, with 150 mm x 150 mm or 200 mm x 150 mm travel ranges; add the optional 100-mm Z-AXIS later to create a complete XYZ system. Or you can select a system having all three stages, in either 150 mm x 150 mm x 100 mm or 200 mm x 150 mm x 100 mm versions. See the table below for a list of mapping table options and prices.
